What is graphic design…and where is it headed?
In non-geek speak, graphic design is used to assist businesses in developing communications tools to represent them. Telling the crowds we are engineers or artists is a little misleading, we are in the business of communicating business. User-interface is becoming more commonly user-friendly and communications are being unified to send consistent messages to the consumer. Graphic designers make messages easier to digest and unify business messages.
Need a new logo? Orion can do that.
We understand that a new logo can seem daunting, as the logo for your business typically appears across your website, uniforms, marketing communications and on all your sales collateral. So, at Orion, we work with you to make the process simple, from design through to implementation. Here’s how we did just that for Electra-Loom.
Why should Santa use Email Direct Marketing?
Good question, I am glad I asked it.
With the kids these days streaming their hip hop rap music, dancing at their all night disco clubs and finding out about these all online, it is hard for someone like Santa, in his workshop, surrounded by elves, carving away at the little wooden toys to keep up with the speedy demand from his clients (or hip hop listening disco dancing children).
Is website content as important as design?
Mother’s are always right, aren’t they? Growing up, my mum frequently used to tell me: “It’s not what you say. It’s how you say it.” When we start the process of building or redesigning a site at Orion, our holistic view is based on a belief in the importance of that proven adage.
When it comes to websites, what you say – in this case being the design of your site, and how you say it – the copy/content and functionality, play equal parts in the success, or otherwise, of your website.
