Sophos wanted to engage IT decision makers to adopt the Sophos Cloud free trial. They wanted an engaging campaign that would involve prizes (iPad Air 2) and grab attention using the concept of a free glider provided by Sophos.
Orion Creative collaborated with Sophos to create a single page website solution and direct mail piece which included the gliders. The site was built on top of a mobile friendly Drupal CMS for greater security and ease of usability.
The direct mailers consisted of a three panel design in the form of an Air Mail letter. Inside, people were presented with a glider and information on how to enter the competition and take part in a free trial.
During the promotion Sophos experienced a shortage of gliders due to popularity so Orion was tasked with providing a quick solution. Orion solved the shortage issue by adapting the original mailer design; creating an all-in-one mailer that could be turned into a paper glider.
