An event website, menu designs and pocket guide to support Thailand event
The brief
Orion Creative, in partnership with event specialists, Veritas Events, were brought on board to support an exclusive event in beautiful Koh Samui – the annual Asia Pacific President’s Club for a technology company. The event is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the success of the tech company’s talented team. Every detail was considered and expectations were high for the event that was a year in the making. With a focus on celebration, the team at Orion were required to put together a series of creatives to support the event.
The solution
Having worked with Veritas Events and this particular client on several previous events, Orion were excited to get stuck in to the 2018 President’s Club.
In preparation for the 3-day event, Orion Creative were tasked with creating an event website that was set-up as password protected, with only invitees’ allowed access. The secure website was a source of practical information to help guests plan their trip, and the back-end allowed Veritas Events the flexibility to add content throughout the event – including a video highlights package and photo gallery of each day’s activities.
The next component of the campaign was to create a menu for each of the three evening events – a welcome dinner, fisherman’s market, and Temple of Light Festival theme for the gala dinner. Each piece boasted a unique design in line with the theme for each meal, from traditional Thai patterns, to the quirky and pun-filled, and chic gold-foil accented gala dinner menu.
The final elements were a branded President’s Club lanyard and event pocket guide, filled with photography that highlighted the beauty of Thailand, and need-to-know information for attendees covering each day’s agenda, an achievers list and event contact details.
The team at Orion are thrilled with each component of this campaign. Touted as an event to ‘Inspire the Extraordinary’ – we think each piece did just that!
The response
By all accounts, the 100+ delegates and executive team that attended the 2018 President’s Club had an absolute ball letting their hair down. Orion’s contribution helped facilitate a wonderful event.
