When Orion first opened its doors in 1995, the creative landscape looked very different.
Design was largely a hands-on craft, websites were in their infancy, and marketing relied on print, pixels, and plenty of persistence. Yet the goal was the same as it is today — to help brands communicate with clarity and creativity.

Over the Years...
1996
It all starts in a spare bedroom.
Mark Rowe launches Orion Graphics as a one-man graphic design and print business, with a vision to build something great.
1997
The big leagues come calling early.
Citrix partners with Orion for creative work, a relationship that continues to this day.
1998
Another major name through the door.
CNH (Case New Holland) comes on board for creative work that continues to this day.
2002
A young talent joins the team.
Mark takes a chance on a 16-year-old kid named Jarrad, putting him through TAFE to study Web Design and Development.
2003
Orion levels up.
Web design, development and email marketing join the arsenal.
2005
That kid Jarrad?
He becomes a Trade Olympian and takes home the Gold Medal as World Champion.
2005
Community matters.
Orion kicks off a long-running sponsorship of Rouse Hill Rams Sports Club, becoming a proud part of the local Hills community.
2006
A new name for a new era.
Orion Graphics becomes Orion Creative Solutions, because what the team does now goes well beyond the original brief.
2008
More strings to the bow.
Copywriting, content and social media services join the mix.
2011
Enter the Space Ninja.
Orion’s iconic astronaut mascot lands on the scene, giving the brand a personality as bold and adventurous as the work itself.
2012
Time to spread out.
Orion moves from Sky City to the Atlas building in Norwest, stepping into a bigger creative studio with its own dedicated photography space.
2016
Twenty years.
One epic Office Olympics. Orion celebrates two decades of creativity, camaraderie and client partnerships.
2021
Quarter century, fresh look.
Orion turns 25 with a full brand refresh, unveiling a new visual identity, new website and the same unstoppable energy.
2023
Post-COVID.
The world works differently and so does Orion. The team moves to Lexington Drive in Norwest, embracing flexible working near the Metro.
2026
Thirty years in.
1,263 clients served, a lifetime of creative work, long-term partnerships and big ideas. The best chapters are still being written.
