Orion has been buzzing with excitement as we continue to complete jobs that we’re pretty proud of. The past few weeks have seen a great variety of different projects that have kept us busy. Here are a few highlights:
WentWest ‘Plant the Seed to Recovery’ brochure
We put on our creative caps to redesign a brochure for healthcare organisation WentWest. Western Sydney Partners in Recovery provides support to people who have severe and persistent mental illness with complex needs. The main purpose of the brochure is to reach out to those who need assistance and encourage them to access the mental health program. To mix things up a little, we played around with hand-drawn 3-D lettering. The tagline for the brochure is ‘Plant the seed to Recovery’ and we featured the word ‘Recovery’ as a tree shooting up from the ground, representing the journey to improving quality of life and restoring a sense of hope and social inclusion within in the Western Sydney community.
Lenovo Presidents Club gold-foiled menu
We always enjoy trying out printing styles that take a piece of collateral to the next level, and we did just that by creating a gold-foiled dinner menu for our client Veritas Events, for the Lenovo Asia Pacific President’s Club in Cambodia earlier this year. The gold foiling added a touch of luxury to the menu that really proves that adding a bit of sparkle in the right circumstance can take something as simple as a dinner menu from average-looking to amazing.
Dell EMC Forum Sydney
The Dell EMC Forum 2017 was held in Sydney in mid-August, and Orion played a key role in helping our client PDK Events create several different on-site and digital assets for the event, including main entrance signage, pull-up banners, window decals, animated web banners and video and custom design for various Dell-branded products such as VR goggles and hoodies. Our involvement in the Dell EMC Sydney event was stepped up after assisting with smaller elements last year and we believe we rose up to the challenge and delivered to assist in putting on a successful event.
