Celebrating 25 years with a fresh new look

This year Orion Creative is celebrating 25 years in business, and to mark such a massive milestone, we are excited to unveil our new brand look and feel.

The rebrand is a part of a strategy to emphasise our creative thinking, our growth as a team, and the way in which Orion will never stop helping our clients explore the possibilities.

Those familiar with the company will notice our mascot is still with us, though looking a little different these days. Orion may be celebrating 25 years, but our astronaut is celebrating a milestone of their own: 10 years at the front of the Orion brand! And as part of their “long service leave”, they’ve been released out into the world to explore new directions, depicted in a series of animated cut-out scenes. The many iterations of our astronaut over the years are shown below.

As well as a website overhaul, everything from our quotes and email templates, to our brochures and business cards have been completely rethought and revamped. The capabilities brochure has been furnished with a whole heap of new mock-ups, showcasing some of our best work. Flick through the new brochure here.

To avoid the commonplace, we opted for square business cards to match our square capabilities brochure, and the business cards come in a variety of designs to provide a talking point and a sense of playfulness.

Originally launching as ‘Orion Graphics’ – a one-man team in Mark Rowe’s spare bedroom-come-home office – Orion has grown from its humble beginnings into a highly regarded creative agency.

Initially only providing simple graphic design and printing, Orion Creative now has a team of 11 staff members and counting, all with differing backgrounds and skill sets. It means we can now offer a wider variety of creative services including graphic design, web development, copywriting, digital marketing, motion graphics and more.

A lot has changed over the last 25 years. This milestone provided us with an opportunity to reflect on where we came from, how we got to where we are today, and to look forward to bigger and better things in the future. As Orion enters into the next chapter, Mark would like to thank Orion’s hard-working employees, and equally so, our valued clients past, present and future.
