Putting brands in the spotlight
Great creative work doesn’t stop at a logo, advertisement or event sign. It’s about creating experiences that capture attention, connect with audiences and leave a lasting impression.
In this edition of in the spotlight, we’re showcasing three projects that did exactly that. From promoting a private experience of Vivid Sydney, to supporting a major global technology event and delivering campaign creative that stood out in a competitive market, these projects demonstrate the many ways thoughtful design and marketing can bring a brand to life.
Sydney Water Taxis Vivid campaign
Helping Sydney Water Taxis stand out during vivid sydney
Vivid Sydney is one of the city’s biggest annual events, attracting thousands of visitors to the harbour and CBD each year. Sydney Water Taxis wanted to promote their private Vivid cruise experience as a unique way to enjoy the festival from the water while avoiding the crowds.
Orion Creative planned and launched a targeted Meta advertising campaign designed to drive awareness and traffic to a dedicated Vivid landing page. Using compelling harbour imagery and messaging focused on the Vivid experience from Sydney Harbour, the campaign reached more than 108,000 people, generated over 201,000 impressions and drove almost 2,600 visits to the landing page throughout the campaign.
Despite challenging weather conditions and a highly competitive tourism market, the campaign maintained click-through rates of around 3% while delivering an efficient average cost of $0.45 per landing page visit. Based on the client’s reported bookings, the campaign achieved a 6.4x Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), demonstrating the value of a well-targeted, strategically managed advertising campaign even in challenging market conditions.

BMSA LandCruiser campaign
Generating excitement for Off the road tyre sales
We worked with Bridgestone Mining Solutions Australia on its Win a LandCruiser customer promotion campaign, developing a bold campaign look and feel designed to capture attention and clearly communicate the prize mechanic. The promotion gives customers the chance to win a Toyota LandCruiser 79 Series, with eligible Bridgestone Off The Road Radial tyre purchases earning entries between 1 July and 31 December 2026. Customers also receive bonus entries for larger purchases, helping create a strong incentive to participate.
Our work included creating the campaign hero image and visual direction, building the promotional landing page. We also designed supporting campaign collateral, including promotional flyers, posters, a vehicle wrap, social media tiles and more, ensuring the campaign had a consistent and professional presence across digital, sales and customer-facing materials.

Abbey year of the horse campaign
A Year round community Celebration of horse health
Abbey Animal Health asked us to create a dedicated experience for the Year of the Horse, giving horse owners a reason to engage with the Abbey brand while supporting the wider equine community. This campaign aimed to be a year-long celebration of horse health and care, promoting education, community involvement and charity.
We built a landing page including features such as equine charity voting, live vote tracking and a Horse Owner Hub. Visitors could vote for their preferred charity, with Abbey Animal Health donating funds in proportion to the results. The page also helped to promote selected charities including RDA Victoria and Save A Horse Australia. In addition, there was a sign-up campaign for horse owners, offering a gift to the first 100 registrations, together with horse health articles and the featuring of social media content from horse owners.
The result was a campaign platform that combined brand storytelling, lead generation and community engagement to create a memorable and unique digital experience.
