Putting brands in the spotlight

Refreshed from the holiday season, the Orion Creative team has gotten right back into the swing of things. We’d like to showcase three of our favourite projects from the last few months. We’re shining the spotlight on jobs that kept our graphic designers, web developers and content producers busy and really engaged – a bold new logo and website redesign for a commercial refrigeration company, a fresh new website for Grains Australia, and dazzling Annual Reports for one of the country’s most loved volunteer-driven groups.

Taurus came to Orion Creative to rejuvenate their brand image through the creation of a new logo and a colour palette that was striking and sophisticated. We also provided a suite of corporate ID including letterheads, business cards and stationery for the Sydney-wide business, which the client was very impressed with.

This new design direction flowed through to an overhaul of their website, which saw Orion’s digital designers, web developers and content producers all contributing to an excellent finished result. So now they have a cool new brand, logo and site from which to build on and take them forward into their next stage of growth.

Transforming THE SITE FOR OPTIMAL user ENGAGEMENT.

Orion was contacted by Seftons, an experienced communications and advisory firms specialising in rural and regional Australia. They needed leading-edge web design and web development expertise to rejuvenate a content-rich website with fresh design and better site navigation, for one of their clients, Grains Australia.

The graphics were not inviting or optimised for fast-loading, Information had been hard to find, site navigation was difficult, and layouts were out of kilter for tablet and smartphone users. This all contributed to low engagement with the website and a higher than acceptable bounce rate for site visitors. Orion Creative was up for the challenge to turn things around.

The new site features attractive design, intuitive site navigation, and was developed for compatibility with all mobile devices. Images are optimised for the web, content pages load quickly, and site users now enjoy a rewarding online experience. Seftons and Grains Australia were both delighted with the final result.

Royal Life Saving Society annual reports

Making a splash for N.S.W., the A.C.T. and Tasmania.

Royal Life Saving is active across all communities and their members, volunteers, trainers, employees and lifesavers are found on beaches, rivers and waterways across the country.

They came to Orion Creative to get three annual reports designed, produced and printed to show the organisation’s operations and financial performance in the preceding 12 months and present their vision for the near future, in an impactful and engaging way.

Our designers worked their magic throughout each annual report so that key information was backed up with eye-catching imagery and all of the facts and figures were laid out so that it could be read by people of all educational backgrounds. The final result, as PDFs and printed documents, delighted the client and was well received by recipients.
