Baa baa baa, baa baa the Rams

With 4 sporting divisions (Netball, Cricket, Little Athletics and Soccer), over 1500 registered players, and each sporting division boasting their own committee, the Rouse Hill Rams has evolved from an idea at a local pub, into a unique sporting model not seen anywhere in Australia.

Orion has sponsored the Sports Club since inception in 2006, and along with a handful of genuine sports mad Dads and Mums, have helped shape its dynamic setup into a recognisable sporting service provider within the Hills community.

Keeping up with the Joneses.com

You know the feeling, your neighbours get a new car so you gotta get a new car. Your neighbours get a big screen TV, so you gotta get a big screen TV. Your neighbours get a website that uses the latest in web technologies, so you gotta get a website that uses the latest in web technologies.

Getting a little burlesque

At Orion, we’re totally down for doing work when it comes to helping others, and when it’s for a great cause. Our most recent work was for the Philippine Australian Medical Association (PAMA), an association of doctors, surgeons and health specialists that undertake Medical Missions to the Philippines annually. It is here where Australian and Filipino doctors educate the local community and serve patients by undertaking major surgeries including cleft lip and palate repairs, burn reconstructions, down to the very basics of health education to the local community and providing a free toothbrush.

We are creating new and exciting problems

I know that it sounds a little bit like a weird title, but it is true.

As we are getting better and progressing with the ever evolving web design and development universe, we are creating a richer user experience and more interesting elements within our designs and development processes. Problem is, we are also creating more problems.

Google+, Social Media and SEO

Google recently unveiled their new Facebook competitor, Google+ – they are currently in a closed testing phase – though you can get invites if you know the right people (like us for example). It has a number of great features, along with a clean, simplified design (you may have noticed Google and GMail’s design changing recently to match).

Only time will tell if it’s as popular as Facebook or Twitter, but if anyone can do it, it’s Google. In fact, according to a recent study Google+ acheived over 10 million users in a matter of days.

New Website: Hear the Children

Hear the Children provides specialised therapy, free-of-charge, to hearing impaired babies and pre-schoolers.

Orion provided Hear the Children with a free-of-charge content managed site, so they can continue doing their great work with hearing impaired babies and pre-schoolers.

It’s just a nice, warm, baby-smelling story all round…sorry, got a bit clucky there.
