In situ images showcase new residential carpet range

There’s nothing like gorgeous in situ images to spark interest in a new product range; particularly in the heavily visual world of interior design.

So with a new foray into the residential market, Australian/New Zealand carpet tile manufacturer Ontera Modular Carpets worked with Orion’s photography and design team to create a compelling visual story to accompany the launch.

Google time machine lands down under

When Google first announced its new time travel feature for Street View, it was only rolled out to a small batch of users, with the rest of us itching to take it for a spin. Knowing it can sometimes take an age for new features to reach us here in Australia, I wasn’t going to hold my breath for this one. So I was pleasantly surprised to find that it now works and is usable on the streets of Australia.

Why responsive email?

Do you ever check your emails on your phone? Yup – I thought so. Me too. According to a recent Litmus study, 44% per cent of emails are now opened on a mobile device.

What goes into package design?

Unless you work in the food, beverage or manufacturing industries, you may not take much notice of the way products are packaged and presented on supermarket shelves.

Subconsciously though, as you reach for a product you will be registering things like colour, attractiveness of product images, and how easily you can see the information you need to know to decide on your purchase.

Instagram is a free photo-sharing app with over 130 million active users! Users have shared over 16 billion photos and the app has cemented itself as the number one photo-based social media service. Instagram bills itself as a fun, quirky way to share photos. Allowing users to snap photos on their phone, apply vintage filters and immediately upload to all their followers. You can also share these photos with others across social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
